A classic 1st Birthday smash cake is always tops on my list! This sculpted buttercream covered smash cake is in the shape of Pooh Bear’s Honey Pot! I love the ribbed texture to highlight the classic watercolor style Hunny pots from the A.A. Milne stories. The addition of the number 1 is always perfect for photos and the little handmade fondant bees are one of our favorite little details to add to any cake design, but especially baby shower, or smash cakes. Now who could forget the dripping honey just spilling over the side of the honey pot cake— it’s actually white chocolate ganache dyed yellow- but we can pretend for now!
