English Garden Inspired Towering Floral Centerpieces
Lush Flowers: Incorporating an array of garden blooms such as roses, peonies, hydrangeas, and lilacs dotted amongst the tiers.
Lace Accents: Delicate lace detailing inspired by the intricate patterns of the bride's dress, adding elegance and charm to the cake.
Color Palette for a Coastal New England Aesthetic:
Soft Pastels: Gentle shades of blush pink, ivory, soft greens, and hints of very soft lavender to emulate the romantic ambiance of a country garden.
Romantic Hues: Incorporating subtle touches texture and dimensional flowesr to reflect the seaside venue's influence.
Cake Structure:
Jessica was inspired by the Multi-tiered Elegant Cake shown above: We created a tiered cake with multiple layers to evoke a sense of grandeur and sophistication shown in her inspiration photo.
Textured Frosting: Using delicate piping accents in a brushed embroidery detail along with fondant flowers with subtle textures adds dimension and a moves the eye to accent the soft garden textures for a cohesive theme.
Embellishments:
Flowers: flowers from Jessica’s bouquet and centerpieces, roses, peonies, and hydrangeas adorn the tiers, mirroring the floral arrangements at the venue.
Edible Pearls: small edible pearls or beads enhance the base of each tier and add an elegance to the cake and provide a touch of opulence pulling from the button detail down the back of Jessica’s dress.
