Located in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Kilburn Mill is an industrial wedding venue. Situated on the coastline along Clarks Cove, the mill features modern high ceilings, wooden white pine floors reminiscent of bygone eras and incredible light flowing through giant windows overlooking Buzzard’s Bay and the shining ocean.

Katie + Lucas celebrated in October on a spectacular day with perfect light!

Their two tiered buttercream cake featured textured frosting and accented with fall autumnal fresh greenery from their florist: Whaling City Florist!

I loved receiving photos from Sam at Miranda Photo Co. The email read “Here are the pictures of your delicious cake! I scoffed my slice down lol wish I was able to catch you…”

Katie and Lucas chose both vanilla cake and chocolate cake for tiers in their cake. And even chose to have one tier filled with coffee milk buttercream. Coffee milk is a South Coast tradition and such a cool way to bring the New Bedford and South Coast vibes to their wedding day!

Not only does Kilburn Mill boast industrial moody vibes, it also features a huge space with a separate outdoor rooftop Ceremony Space on the rooftop deck. A separate cocktail hour space and a completely separate bar area and reception space. So your guests can stretch out and dance and mingle all around the mill.
